taqi-usmaniShia Muslims have replied to Mufti Taqi Usmani, a Deobandi cleric, who has made baseless charges against Shia Muslims due to his ignorance about Shia Islam. The ignorant cleric made impolite and unjustifiable remarks at global Islamic Unity Conference.

“Taqi Usmani should clarify his position about Deobandi school of thought to Sunni Bralevis who consider Deobandis a deviant group of Hanafi school of thought,” a Shia analyst advised him.

Shia Islam believes in the Holy Quran in present format even though the first Ayat that was revealed to Hazrat Mohammad, last and final apostle and Prophet of God was not the same that has been arranged as first in present Quran.

“Iqra Bismey Rabbe-kal-lazi…..was the first ayat of Quran, according to Sunni Islamic history so Mufti Taqi Usmani should tell us what he means by Tehreef-e-Quran,” another Shia observer asked. Who changed the chronology and when, he asked.

A Shia student of Islamic culture and history has asked Usmani to read his father Mufti Mohammad Shafi’s books and writings in which he discussed the Karbala Tragedy of 61 A.H.  He said that Usmani’s father wrote about noha khwani and mourning and crying over the assassination of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions in Karbala and Medina.

“Shibli Nomani has written in al Farooq that Hazrat Umer also heard the marsia and desired to do so but he did not know how to write marsia,” he cited. The Shia student said that Taqi Usmani should read these books then he would understand what the azadari is?
