sunni-riaz-shahRenowned Sunni Bralevi cleric Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah has said that sectarian terrorism in Iraq and Syria was due to global conspiracy hatched by enemies of Islam and Muslims.

Rejecting the ideology of hate and violence, he said, Islam was against the use of force and violence because ideological wars are not fought by fighting each other but logical arguments are needed to wage this battle.

“Sectarian tension in Pakistan could also turn Pakistan into Iraq or Syria. To avoid those conditions, religious scholars should come forward and sign a peace accord on mutually agreed code of ethics,” he proposed.

He said that Islam forbids murder of any Muslim on the basis of sectarian differences hence to kill Muslims on the basis of sectarian differences is forbidden and the murderers cannot hide their anti-Islamic ferocious acts in the garb of Islam.

“Religious scholar should raise voice against this anti-Islamic ideology of murders. They must endorse capital punishment for blasphemous activities from any side,” he urged.

It is also relevant to add here that Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Grand Ayatollah Imam Syed Ali Khamenei has issued fatwas saying that blasphemy of wives of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) is forbidden and there must be no contempt of the sanctities of Sunni Islam. Shiite News Correspondent reported that these two fatwas are epoch-making decrees that would help strengthen inter-sectarian harmony between Sunni and Shia Muslims.
