Governor Sindh orders FIR against SSP CID and Wahabi leader of Shaheed Askari Raza murder

Ch AslamOranzib FaroqiProtesters mourners staging a 10 hours long historical sit-in outside the Sindh Governor’s House in the cold weather dispersed peacefully early Monday dawn after police registered an First Information Report (FIR) of the murder of Slain Shia leader of the Pasban-i-Jafria, Shiite News reported.

Scores of people had besieged the governor house on Sunday evening at 8 pm on 1st January and staged 10

A heavy contingent of police and senior police officers were present to tackle any untoward incident.

The case was then registered against leader of the outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba Oragzeb Farooqi Maulana Aurangzeb Farooqui.

According to the Governor House spokesman, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad also dismissed CID SSP Chaudhry Aslam and ordered a judicial inquiry against him within 48 hours.

The inquiry report would be completed within three days and Aslam could be arrested if found involved.

A leader of the Pasban-i-Jafria held Aslam and Farooqui responsible for the killing of Raza and told that the protesters wanted the government to book them in the murder case.

However, the negotiation committee from Shia side member Samar Abbas, a relative of Shaheed Askhari Reza, ruled out the disinformation of Sindh Governor House and said that the FIR has been registered against SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam and terrorist organzeb Farooqi along with 10 demands of the protestors.

Earlier, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and PPP leader Senator Faisal Reza Abidi came at sit-in to calm the protestors but they chanted the slogans against the both officials and ruled out the government proposal to end the sit-in protest.

They chanted the slogans “we want registration of FIR and arrest of Organzeb Farooqi and SSP CID Chaudhry Asalm” and vowed that they would not bow down in front of Wahabi terrorists and government atrocities”.
