Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has demanded that the Dawn leaks inquiry committee report must be made public forthwith so that people of Pakistan should know the facts about this national security issue.

Shia Muslims staged rallies across Sindh province including in its capital Karachi to register protest against unabated Shia genocide in Kurrum Agency and the problems being faced by Shia pilgrims on Taftan border with Iran.

The confession of notorious Deobandi terrorist Ihsanullah Ihsan, a former commander of banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), is of no interest to the parents of those students of Army Public School Peshawar who lost their children due to Deobandi Taliban attack. They demand hanging of Ehsanullah Ehsan.

Pakistan has expressed its grief on the martyrdom of several Iranian border guards in an incident in the Iranian territory of Sistan-Baluchistan. Its sincere condolences were also conveyed to the government and people of Iran, specially the bereaved families. This message was given by Syed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, to the Iranian Ambassador, who called on him yesterday.

Iran says Pakistan should stand accountable for letting armed bandits operate on its soil after they killed nine Iranian border guards on the country’s southeastern frontier. 
“The Pakistani government should be held accountable for the presence and operation of these vicious groups on its soil,” Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Qassemi, said in a post on the Telegram messenger channel on Thursday.
