At least 14 Palestinians have been arrested by Israeli forces after they carried out raids on their homes across the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, three Palestinians, including a former prisoner, were arrested when Israeli troops raided their homes in the Khallet al-Ein, al-Dhaer and Beit Ummar areas in al-Khalil (Hebron) late Thursday.

Israeli soldiers also detained six others from the al-Fawwar refugee camp in the town of Surif and the Deir Samet village in the al-Khalil governorate after breaking into their houses.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian man was taken from his home in the al-Ubeidiya town, located six kilometers east of Bethlehem, while another was arrested in the village of Umm Salamuna, situated southwest of the occupied city.

Two others were detained in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank. The last person was also arrested in the town of al-Ram, northeast of al-Quds (Jerusalem), where Israelis broke into a house, causing property damage.

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society recently said that at least 380 Palestinians have been arrested across the West Bank and East Al-Quds over the last three weeks.

Tensions have been running high in East al-Quds since November 18 when at least four Israelis and two Palestinians were killed in an attack on an al-Quds synagogue.

The number of individual Palestinian and Israeli settler attacks against each other has been on the rise.
