Saudi Arabia has continued to strike Yemen with deadly airstrikes, targeting areas in the country’s northern province of Sa’ada.

Five airstrikes hit Sa’ada’s Razih district, while another two targeted areas in the province’s Bani Ma’ad district, on Monday.

There were no immediate reports of casualties from the airstrikes.

The raids come as at least five civilians were killed and 10 others injured in similar airstrikes in the capital, Sana’a, on Sunday. Areas in the Province of Hajjah also came under attack.

Meanwhile, the General Command of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces announced the death of Emirate officer Khamis Rashid Al-Abdouli in clashes with Yemeni soldiers in Ma’rib Province.

Yemen has been under military strikes on a daily basis since Saudi forces launched their military aggression against their southern neighbor on March 26, in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, an ally of Riyadh.

About 6,400 people have reportedly lost their lives in the Saudi airstrikes, and a total of nearly 14,000 people have been injured since March. According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), 505 children are among the fatalities.
