shia sunni unityThe deviated cult of Wahabism has made a lot of efforts to promote its fake version of Islam in the Netherlands and many other countries.

Elise Benue from the Netherlands who has recently converted to Islam, made the remark in an interview with IQNA,

adding that the Wahabis have created countless websites to extend their ideology and spread Shia-phobia.

She said despite all-out attempts by Wahabis in the Netherlands, no special activity is seen on the part of the Shias and other Islamic groups to counter these attempts.

In the Netherlands, there are many books about Islam in Dutch and English but not any about Shia Islam, she noted, adding that people there have no sources to learn about Shia beliefs and ideology.

Elise Benue underlined the need for books and other sources in Dutch and English to introduce Shi’ism to people in the Netherlands.

She warned against the Takfiri current and the plot by the world arrogance to foment discord in the Muslim world, adding that Muslims must be vigilant and unite against this plot.

On her conversion to Islam, she said she learned about and got interested in the religion during her teenage years through her Muslim friends.

Elise Benue said she studied about Islam for a long time before embracing it at the age of 19. “My parents, who are secular, were against my decision to convert to Islam at first but then admitted it.”

The Dutch Shia convert also said she and her husband worked to improve Shi’ism in the Netherlands but Wahabis started to threaten them.
