The activists said the woman died in the northern village of Abu Saiba, about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) west

of Manama, on Tuesday.

Amnesty International said in a statement issued on February 13 that despite promises made by the Bahraini government, “victims and families of victims of the serious human rights violations (including) torture, arbitrary detention and excessive use of force… are still waiting for justice.”
