The ISIL Takfiri militants have reportedly executed as many as 17 people in the Iraqi city of Tikrit in the restive Salahuddin Province.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists executed “17 civilians including a woman and two children after storming into Albu Ayfan” in the southern part of Tikrit, IraqiNews, an online newspaper, reported on Saturday.

“The ISIL terrorists detonated two residences” in the area as well, according to the report.
On December 15, the Takfiri militants executed 13 men on a large roundabout six kilometers (four miles) east of Tikrit.

The dead were reportedly members of a group of anti-ISIL Sunni tribal fighters known as the Knights of al-Alam. The Takfiri terrorists had captured them in Tikrit and al-Alam over a week before.

The ISIL has been in control of Tikrit since the beginning of the militants’ major offensive in Iraq six months ago.

Earlier this month, Iraqi tribal leaders said that the ISIL Takfiris had abducted and killed 16 members of an Iraqi Sunni tribe fighting the group in the western province of Anbar.

The ISIL terrorists control some parts of Syria and Iraq. They are engaged in crimes against humanity in the areas under their control. ISIL militants have terrorized and killed people of all communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds and Christians.

Iraqi authorities have repeatedly blamed Saudi Arabia and a number of Riyadh’s Persian Gulf allies for extending financial and logistical support to the terror campaign in Iraq.
