salfi6"Nobody is allowed to prevent Shia religious ceremonies during Muharram as long as they comply with Islamic laws and teachings".

This is according to Sheikh Abdul Hamid Al-Atrash, former head of the Dar-ul-Ifta Committee of Al-Azhar religious

center in Egypt.

He criticized threats made by Salafists against Shia mourning ceremonies and said no one should be allowed to impede the Shia mourning ceremonies in Muharram.
