Death anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA) being observed across Pakistan

barsi24th death anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA), the great leader of Islamic Revolution, is being observed across Pakistan these days.
In this regard, main congregation of almost all major Shia parties namely Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-

Muslimeen, ISO, Nasiran-e-Imam Foundation, IO, Haiyat-e-Aimma-e-Masajid and Ulema-e-Imamia Pakistan and Asgharia Organization was held at Britto Road near Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Khorasan.

Allama Haider Ali Javadi, Allama Ali Murtaza Zaidi, Allama Hassan Salahuddin, Allama Aqil Saqi and renowned Sunni scholar Mufti Aslam Naeemi spoke at the anniversary congregation.

They said that Imam Khomeini (RA) challenged the corrupt and oppressive global system that was based on arrogant and imperialistic ideology and led by the United States. They said that Imam Khomeini led a successful revolution that encouraged and emboldened the oppressed and downtrodden people across the people and they felt free to challenge the hegemonic powers and tyrant rulers.

They said that Imam Khomeini’s mission is continued under the leadership of his successor, Imam Khamenei. He said that people came to know the true power of Shia Islam because of success of Imam Khomeini led revolution. They said that Imam emerged as a role model leader and people across the world emulated him and followed his ideals.

They said that Imam Khomeini topped the throne that was heir of the legacy of 2500 years old monarchy.

Renowned poet and noha khwan Ali Deep Rizvi recited tarana and nohas while Iranian Qari Waliullah Ahmedipur recited from Quran verses at the outset of the congregation.

More such condolence meetings are being arranged in mosques and Imam Bargahs.
