Deputy Mayors of Islamabad Zeeshan Naqvi along with other members visited the Hunger Strike Camp and met MWM Secretary General Allama Raja Nasir Abbas at Hunger Strike camp Islamabad.

While expressing solidarity, delegation said that we support your stance of extremism and terrorist forces should be eradicated from the country. Target killing of every patriotic peaceful Pakistani whether he belongs to any religion or sect is a vicious act and is harmful for the national security and stability. They said that we would convey your demands to our higher leadership.

Allama Nasir Abbas thanked the members of the delegation for their visit and said that our difference is not with any particular party or group rather with anti-state ideology. We are convener of democratic values and consider trampling of public rights as against the spirit of democracy. Protection of lives and properties of people is the foremost responsibility of the government. However, government is not playing responsible role in this regard. Renowned people of Shiite Community are being killed in target killing. Lands of our people living in Gilgit-Balstian and Parachinar are being occupied. Shia Sunni believes are consecrated to National Action Plan, we will not let to succeed government’s effort to dissociate people from Islam.

He said that government has to accept our principle and legal demands. Our nerves should not be tested. If government thinks that we will leave our protest without the acceptance of our demands then they must be dreaming.
