Pakistan-based Sunni and Shia parties have condemned the missile attacks by United States, United Kingdom and France on Syria saying that the US-led alliance has been destroying peace in Syria and entire region.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi of Shia Ulema Council, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Ansar Mehdi of Imamia Students Organisation, Sirajul Haq and Liaquat Baloch of Jamaat-e-Islami and many other leaders and parties, have condemned the missile attacks on Syria.
“US and its allies are attacking sovereign Arab country Syria and they have cooked up a false allegation to hoodwink world people by unjustifiable missile attacks,” said Allama Naqvi.
Liaquat Baloch said that the US has put world peace in danger by aggression on Syria. He criticized the Muslim governments silence against US crimes. He praised Russia for its support to Syria against US attacks.
Allama Raja Nasir said US would never achieve any goal in Syria because people of Syria detest everything pro-Israel be it US, UK or France or be it Saudi Arabia. He said that Syrian defence cannot be shaken because of Syrian army and Syrian people who are united against enemies of their homeland.
Ansar Mehdi of ISO said that on one hand Israeli forces were killing innocent Palestinian Muslims and Christians in Gaza and other parts of occupied Palestine but neither US nor its allies came to attack Israel in defence of defenseless people of Palestine but they attacked Syria because Syria is supporter of Palestinians and an opponent of Israel.
JI chief Sirajul Haq said that if big powers want showdown they should target countries of each other and leave Muslim countries forthwith.
