19 security officials martyred in Yazidi terrorist attack on Karachi airport

4 airport security official embraced martyrdom in Yazidi terrorist attack 19 security officials and 10 terrorist were reported killed in a Yazidi nasbi takfiri terrorist attack on Karachi Airport late on Sunday night.

Shiite News Correspondent reported here that Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists hurled crackers and opened firing near Haj Terminal (Old Terminal) of Karachi Airport.  The terminal is used for VIP arrival and departure. Sindh Chief Minister and some politicians are also said to be at the airport when the terrorists stormed into the highly sensitive area of Karachi by cutting the security wiring. Equipped with heavy weapons, they were trying to enter the runway area.

Back-up contingents of security forces including police and rangers and finally the army jawans were called in to aid the ASF. Police and Rangers cordoned off the area and flight schedule have also been put on hold.

Plumes of smoke can be seen rising from the runway area of the old airport (also known as the Hajj Terminal), and shots continue to be fired.

All flights to and from Karachi airport have been cancelled or delayed and flights diverted to other parts of the country.

Shia pilgrims were also stuck up at the Jinnah Terminal after their flight was cancelled just seconds after they boarded the plane. Sources said that 7 terrorists were still present inside the terminal and operation continues to nab them. Explosions and firing were being heard till 2.25 a.m. on Monday.  

While officials were tight lipped there were reports that some aircraft and the jet fuel storage tanks of the PSO and other companies have also been damaged. Reports had it that Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorist Jaish-e-Islam claimed the responsibility. In fact they all are one because they change their names and not the work for instance banned Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi have been renamed as ASWJ.

Shia parties and leaders have condemned the attack. They told the Shiite News that the terrorists were encouraged to do so because the timid rulers were holding talks with them and trying to give them legitimacy. They said that talks were aimed at giving terrorism another chance to continue unabated and peace could not be established by it. They demanded military operation be launched immediately.
