shiitenews muharam Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e Sharie Shian has accused the coalition government of misusing Muharram funds.
In a statement, Anjuman general secretary, Aga Syed Murtaza Al-Moosvi, alleged that the government was using Muharram funds as a means to please its voters.

Castigating the Budgam district administration, Aga Murtaza said “It has become a den of National Conference workers.”
Referring to a recently held Muharram meeting, chaired by Minister for Science and Technology, he said the meeting had decided that demands of only four major Shia organizations would be taken up.
“But what we are seeing now is contrary to the decision,” Aga Murtaza said.
He said, “Ironically, repairing of main roads-for which separate funds are in place- is being done from Muharram funds.”
Aga Murtaza said that despite government’s claim that no work of individual benefit would be taken up under Muharram funds, “most of the works, which have been undertaken by different executing agencies, are of individual nature.”
He accused the district administration of sleeping over the priority recommendations of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir regarding immediate augmentation of electric sub-stations from 100KV to 250KV at Imambara Ayatollah Yousuf (RA) Bemina and Azakhana Ayatollah Yousuf (RA) Budgam.
Stating that Anjuman was oldest and largest Shia organizations in the state, Aga said “not a single demand had found a place in the list of works to be executed by the different departments.”
The organization also threatened to launch a stir at all district headquarters in the valley after Eid-ul Azha against the official apathy.  “The administration will be responsible for all the consequences,” he added.
