The families and supporters of missing Shia Muslims staged a demonstration outside Karachi Pres Club yesterday to protest against the enforced disappearance of their near and dear ones.
The wives, mothers and children of the missing Shia Muslims were carrying the banners, placards and portraits of their missing relatives. They also raised slogans demanding immediate release of the missing Shias.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan chief Pir Masoom Hussain Naqvi has turned down the plots aimed at mainstreaming of banned terrorist outfits by agencies.

Renowned religious scholar and president of Federation of Pakistan’s Shia seminaries Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi has expressed concern on the disunity of the governments of the Muslim majority countries due to which enemies of Islam and Muslims plotted against the sacred land of Palestine and oppressed Palestinians.

The interior ministry has approved transfer of 90 terrorism cases, including the Nishtar Park and Abbas Town bomb blasts cases, to military courts for trial. Those to be tried in these cases by are associated with banned Deobandi takfiri militant outfits, including Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (ASWJ), Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat.

Anti-Terrorism Court judge Malik Shabbir Ahmed handed down 28-year jail term to three notorious Deobandi takfiri terrorists for attacking a team of the Counter-Terrorism Department in 2016.
